The Pin Show Dallas 2017

The Pin Show Dallas 2017

Hey fashionistas!! I am excited to share with you my experience at The Pin Show in Dallas I attended in February as well as add another post to my “Dallas Seats & Eats” section of my blog!! I absolutely love fashion shows! I love the energy it brings and being introduced to new designers and styles! This was the first time I attended a fashion show where I was in the front row right where the models began to walk! It was soo amazing and definitely felt like a VIP!!

I have attended different fashion shows in Dallas which may be a surprise because you probably don’t see me write about them on my blog. That is because despite the venue and all, those shows ended up being so bad that I could not write about them and honestly say a lot of positive comments nor recommend my followers to attend their next show. I am all about honesty and if I don’t like a fashion show, I rather just not write about them then to write about them and mention negative things about them. I feel the same way with products that I sometimes receive. If they are not good quality, then I won’t post about it! But THE PIN SHOW was definitely post worthy!!

So let’s talk about the venue. Like last year, The Pin Show as held at The Bomb Factory in Deep Elm! Many events use this place for concerts or fashion events. I have attended the D Magazine’s “Best of Big D event”there last year and totally love the event space. However, The Pin Show definitely step up their game with all the lighting and sound and it was SO AMAZING!! I felt like I was attending MTV Music awards the way they had it setup and organized! They had different bars set up throughout the venue and drinks were good! I even saw one of the same bartenders from last year’s events who was super nice!

I loved the layout of this fashion show as well! Some events it is a simple “down and back” type runway. But this show, it was the shape of a horseshoe and the VIP section – where I was sitting was in the bottom level in the middle. There were standing room area upstairs which is still a really good view as well. There were many Dallas socialites there as well as some fellow blogger babes and new bloggers that I got to meet as well. It is always so fun to connect and meet different people at these events! You can find the details of my outfit here!

Now let’s talk about the musical artists & fashion! So The Pin is a fashion show that mixes fabulous established designers, musical artists and emerging talents all in one big show! It really did feel like a concert & fashion show all at the same time – Victoria Secret fashion show like. There were 3 musical artists and a new musical artist that we all got introduced to was Sam Lao!!! This singer/rapper rocked it!! She was my favorite artist hands down! I love her style and her music.

As far as fashion goes, it was amazing! I like fashion shows where they feature fashion that I would actually wear or could buy. Don’t get me wrong I do like to attend unique shows such as Food in Fashion event but I have attended shows where it was so weird that it was not something I would see anything wear walking down the street or at Nordstrom. Check out some these designs that were at the show.
