Mario Badescu – Say Goodbye to Dry Winter Skin

Hey beauty gurus! Spring is fully here and summer is around the corner as well! One thing that I have been focusing on is my skin! Winter skin can linger at times – dry flaky skin is not cute and your make up application is different as well. But my lovely friends at Mario Badescu sent me a care package to the rescue! The timing could not have been more perfect! I love and use every single product they sent me and my face has never felt and looked better! These Mario Badescu products really helped me say BYE BYE to dry winter skin!

So I have seriously been loving this skincare line! I have been using them consistently for about 2 weeks and have noticed a difference on my dry winter skin! As I have been getting older, I have noticed putting good quality products on my skin makes a big difference. I have been using a $6 Clean & clear facial waters for years. This stuff has been a game changer! My skin became softer and brighter after the first use.

I have been suffering from the dry cold winter air that can do a number on your skin. Summer is around the corner and I needed a boost and a good exfoliation! In the morning, I wash my face with the glycolic acid facial wash. I try to let it sit on my skin for about 2 minutes before washing it off. This wash is designed to dissolve dull dead skin cells. Then I put the enzyme cleansing gel on and I try to leave it on a little bit longer and wash it off at the end of my shower. I would not use the Enzyme gel to wash off heavy make up because it is a non foaming cleanser. I think I wanted to use more gel when I did that the first time. This gel smells really good and does not dry out my skin.

Afterwards, I put on the Vitamin C serum for the brightening effect and radiance and then blue Herbal Hydrating serum for extra hydration. Las add the oil free SPF 30 before putting on my makeup! I spray my face with the Rosewater facial spray to finish it off. This spray is great for long flights. The dry air in planes is not good for the skin so spray your face with this to refresh your makeup and skin. I know that seems like a lot of product but that’s how I originally used and it worked great on my dry winter skin and I don’t want to change my routine!

For my night routine, I follow the same steps but after the Vitamin C Serum I use the Rose Hips Oil instead of the Herbal Hydrating Serum. At night is when your skin “drinks” the most and this is a good oil to let set on your skin. It does not leave your skin super oil but it is shinier so I would not use it or at least a lot of it during the day time.

After that, I put a think layer of the Seaweed Night Cream on my face and neck. When I tried out these products, I did the night routine first and woke up with super soft bright skin. So I do this routine religiously! I think the seaweed night cream really does the trick in getting my skin super soft and moisturized and it smells really nice.
