Juvia Miami – The Best Rooftop Brunch in South Beach

Hey Travel & Food Lovers!! As you all know, I visited one of my favorite cities Miami!! Miami is known to be a party city and a beach city with so many things to do. But one thing that I love about Miami is all the cool places to eat at and one of them has always been Juvia Miami in South Beach! We had the pleasure of being hosted for brunch here one Sunday and I want to tell you all about Juvia Miami! Shop my outfit below! This is a sponsored post but all thoughts exprsessed are 100% my own.

GETTING TO JUVIA MIAMI

Finding Juvia Miami is quite easy since it is in the famous Miami (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale (FLL) Airport.– the famous street long shopping center of South Beach. South Beach is the southern most part of Miami Beach. You can easily get to Miami Beach from Miami (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale (FLL) Airport. Fort Lauderdale airport usually has cheaper flights and I typically save about $100 flying into FLL, but it is about 30-40 drive to get to Miami Beach depending on traffic.

Miami Beach is connected to the city of Miami by bridges, but it is considered a separate area and more like an island when you view on a map. In South Beach near lincoln road, there are various of parking garages. Our preferred parking garage is on 15th street and Collins across from the Lowe’s hotel. There are always parking spots and not expensive.

From there you can get to popular areas of South Beach such as Ocean Drive, Espanola Way and of course Lincoln Road Mall. Juvia is located the most further away from Collins Street but still part of Lincoln Road. There is a parking lot that is a 2 minute walk from Juvia next to an Italian bakery. There is also a parking garage is located in the back of the building on Alton Rd and Juvia guests can get a discount as well.

JUVIA MIAMI FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The entrance into Juvia Miami may not seem like anything particular because it is just a door and you have you to take an elevator to the rooftop. You must always have to have reservation to eat at Juvia especially for Brunch because it is a popular spot. I typically get my reservations as soon as the reservation window opens which is usually no more than 8 weeks before the date.

When you get off of the elevator, the hostess stand is in there outdoor rooftop terrace where it has a beautiful view of Miami Beach and you can see the ocean in the distance. There is always a DJ playing music. If you come in the evening the pink and purple lighting give it a nice ambiance. This particular morning they played the best tropical music including some of my favorite reggae jams.

Our seat was right by the pool (not for swimming). If the weather is not great, they have indoor seating as well with floor to ceiling glass windows all the way around as well. In the indoor you have views of the bay (the bay near Port of Miami) as well as the South Beach. Our waiter was super nice and sweet too! He was twin and his brother was in town that day from overseas (Serbia I believe) and we got meet his brother too!

JUVIA MIAMI DRINKS & COCKTAILS

Juvia has some of the best drinks and cocktails! Not only are they pretty to look at, but they are taste just as good as they look too. The bar is in the indoors and I watched the bartender from Montenegro make a drink I had not tried before which was the Glamour!  This drink was so pretty and so good!  This cocktail includes Effen Raspberry vodka, fresh raspberry, grapefruit juice, lime juice and prosecco to top it down!

There is a huge round ice cube to keep the drink cold and a rose in the inside for decor! It is definitely a cocktail you should try out. My other favorite drinks in the past that I have gotten was the Pineapple Expressini and Elderflower Mule as well. All of their drinks are definitely Instagram worthy as well!

JUVIA MIAMI BRUNCH MENU
So Juvia’s brunch menu  is a prefix menu for $65. Don’t let the price scare you because what you are getting is so worth it. Just to let you know most brunches in Miami Beach are prefixed and about the same price too. The food that we ate at Juvia was definitely worth it and you get a great portion. So in other words you are not paying for a white plate with a splash of food.
Their menu includes bottomless Mimosa, Bellini or Margarita which is a great plus. Most brunch places that I have gone too never includes unlimited mimosas or bellinis and I end up paying for a couple of glasses.  With the prefixed menu, you get to choose an appetizer a main a dessert along with the bottomless drink.
For the appetizer, we ordered the Avocado Toast and the French Toast. You may think – how could two common dishes be anything special?! Trust me it is! I am not a big avocado fan, but I wanted to devour my husband’s plate. It was so good and flavorful with poach egg, bacon bits and a yummy hollandaise sauce! You definitely have to try it. I got the french toast with berries and bananas with a maple syrup to die for! This was really good too especially with the whipped cream butter too.

For the main course, we ordered the Croque Madame and the Skirt Steak & Eggs. The croque madame is a French style brunch item. It is actually one of my favorite brunch dishes because it is very filling.
On a thick piece of toast it is topped with ham, gruyere cheese and sunny side-up egg with a side salad! It was so good. My husband got the steak and eggs which was actually a skirt steak. There were two sunny side-up eggs on top served with yucca fries and a salad. This was also very good too!

For dessert, there were 3 different options for us to choose from. We could have  the chocolate tart, strawberry salsa or the vanilla panna cotta. We decided on the strawberry salsa and panna cotta. Panna cotta is an Italian dessert that we have had in Italy and theirs were quite good with berries at the bottom.
The strawberry salsa dessert was something very light and refreshing. It was not super sweet but had a nice touch to a savory brunch. Then to end it Juvia had us try their signature Juvia Shot! This was the best shot ever! It actually looks like baby beers but it is a mixture of tropical juices, Bacardi Rum and coconut foam on top! I could drink this by the glass it was so good!
