H&M Studio Collection: Getting Styled for NYFW
Hey Fashionistas! As you all saw, I headed to NYFW for my 3 season and I could not be happier! New York Fashion Week is a time to see next seasons collection from fashion designers all over the world. This season to look my absolute best, I met the H&M team in NY and they styled me with their new H&M Studio collection that launched the day NYFW began!
H&M Studio is a semi annual capsule collection. In the fall, it is the Autumn/Winter and collection and spring is Spring/Summer collection. The collections are carefully curated and this collection had the working woman in mind.
The key point to remember about this collection is that it is a limited edition which means once it sells out, its gone! Some pieces sold out within the first week. H&M will be bringing similar pieces from the collection later on. This collection is available online and in certain select flagship stores across the country.
Some of the cute pieces that I snaged was the leather wrap-around vest. This can be styled in multiple ways and perfect for fall. I styled it with a printed turtleneck and the matching midi skirt. All of which was recognized as I walked the streets of NY.
One of my favorite pieces for the collection. I work this outfit at the Elie Tahari fashion show and was honored to get photographed and videographer with the beautiful Tezza!
My other favorite piece is the sequin skirt. This skirt is so beautiful and show stopping! I wore it at the Chiara Boni and Chromat shows! What makes this skirt so great is that its a wrap skirt. There are cute snap buttons that run diagonally down the side of the skirt.
Also the bottom of the skirt has sequin fringes which makes the skirt super fun as well. You know I love color so I styled it with their yellow turtleneck which gave it a nice pop of color! It will also look great in a pretty magent top, cobalt blue or even red.
